Regional Director Of Facilities Jobs in Iowa

Minimum 7 years’ experience in Facilities Management/Building Operations

Strong leadership and management experience in Maintenance related business

Work with Third Party Service Providers to develop and recommend strategic facility management objectives.

Responsible for identifying critical parts requirements and strategy for storage across the Chewy Fulfillment network.

Willingness to travel a minimum of 40%. In-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles

Extensive experience with conveyance and sortation equipment required.

12+ years of construction/project management experience with a demonstrated focus in delivering outstanding retail stores or workplaces.

Proven people manager who builds capabilities of individuals and teams through effective employee development, involvement, communication and coaching.

Bachelor’s Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Construction Management preferred

Extensive experience in large developments such as retail store expansions, campuses, and other hyper scale construction.

Ability diagnose, handle and resolve maintenance issues quickly and efficiently, including experience prioritizing and assigning repairs.

Experience building and maintaining relationships with facility operation teams, utility companies, government agencies, architectural & design firms, and general contracting firms.

Organized leader with a love of timelines and project management.

Demonstrated experience in development and successful implementation of communication strategies.

Highly effective written and verbal communication skills for communicating to various audiences.

This position may operate in a hybrid (i.e., work from home /office) environment.

Demonstrated successful leadership and organizational team management experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management or related field or equivalent combination of work experience and training, including trade licenses.

Experience with energy management systems.

Support and collaborate on the energy management plan to drive the campus towards carbon neutrality and cost savings.
