Knowledge of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and the Bay Area educational landscape is highly desirable.

Project Management - First 90 Days

Identify and engage with targeted HBCUs, local Bay Area educational institutions, and professional networks to source potential fellowship candidates.

Conduct interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and make recommendations for the selection of fellowship participants.

• Experience with client management databases

• Previous experience in a higher-education admissions representative, student advisor or other similar recruitment related experience desired.

o Ensure all necessary documents are collected and packaged in accordance to admissions requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills, including listening skills

• Experience in a service or sales related position preferred.

• Experience in community health or primary health care preferred.

Exceptional project management skills, with a focus on TA project management.

Education and/or experience in the application of race equity, diversity, and inclusion of social justice strategies in human service settings.

Working knowledge of the refugee, immigrant, and asylee challenges.

Experience working for a refugee program.

Experience working with the legal community.

Prior work experience in a consulting environment.

Foster and maintain strong relationships with community partners and K-12 educational partners.

Maintain thorough knowledge of college programs, processes, and services in order to effectively guide prospective students through the admission/entry process.

Plan, develop, and implement campus recruitment-related promotional events as directed by the Director of Outreach.

Build on current outreach efforts to design creative and innovative ways to recruit and outreach to prospective students.

Lead weekly campus tours as needed.

Collaborate with the Communications and Marketing team to develop print, digital, and social media communications for targeted groups of prospective students.

Recruit new ENs and support the training, activation and ongoing training requirements.

Assist organizations in understanding the requirements to become an EN.

Ensures the delivery of Naniq onboarding, orientation, and training for employees in cooperation with Management.
