Purpose of Position
- Gather and analyze relevant data for the development of communication, outreach, and recruitment products and strategies.
- Develop lists of key stakeholders for outreach and engagement.
- Conduct all activities as part of the larger Recruitment Team.
- Support the development and use of tools to support the recruitment of and communication with LSPs.
- Respond to inquiries or information requests from the client, partners, and project leadership.
- Integrate social media tactics into overall communications and recruitment.
- Develop materials to be used in communication, outreach, and recruitment.
- Develop strategies and content for recruitment and outreach (e.g., newsletters, Updates, blogs, fact sheets, briefing documents, intranet and external website content).
- Develop key messages in support of recruitment and outreach.
- Conduct all activities related to recruitment and outreach including drafting communication related to new federal guidance.
- Track program activities and deliverables using Excel spreadsheets or other tools as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, public administration, business administration or related field which requires an understanding of written communication.
- A minimum of 3 years managing projects, tasks, personnel, or equivalent of project management such as managing multiple aspects of deliverables, deadlines, and partner relationships.
- A minimum of 2 years demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder and partner relationships, including balancing multiple perspectives/needs, for capacity building projects.
- Experience working with the legal community.
- Prior work experience in a consulting environment.
- Working knowledge of the refugee, immigrant, and asylee challenges.
- Experience working for a refugee program.
- Education and/or experience in the application of race equity, diversity, and inclusion of social justice strategies in human service settings.
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Solid team player with proven ability to manage competing priorities, perspectives and stakeholder needs.
- Demonstrated outstanding level of professionalism in providing administrative support, including ability to exercise good judgment, discretion, tact and diplomacy.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities simultaneously in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Exceptional project management skills, with a focus on TA project management.
- Proficient with MS office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to promote and contribute to an equitable and inclusive organizational culture and environment.
