Job Description

Essential Duties


  • Operates safely and in compliance with all established HSE policies and procedures

  • Verifies billing accuracy by researching the root cause of billing errors; reviewing the entry from creation to billed status and recommending changes or corrections as necessary to appropriate personnel and /or departments

  • Ensures that daily bill audits are completed timely and accurately

  • Bills and rate accounts on the Invoice Accuracy Process (IAP) list

  • Approves credits and rebills in a timely manner up to a predetermined threshold

  • Works with Rate Engineers and Pricing to capture information needed to maintain accurate invoicing

  • Works daily exceptions from Data Review process performed by WNS Team

  • Ensures excellent service to both internal and external customers

  • Liaisons with other departments and disseminates information to appropriate departments as needed

  • Performs other duties as assigned


Qualifications


  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, business or related field preferred

  • Three to five (3-5) years related data entry, billing or accounting experience

  • Two (2) years TruckMate experience


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


  • Proficient in MS Office applications including Word, Outlook and Excel

  • Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work under time pressure and produce results within strict deadlines

  • Ability to perform basic math calculations

  • Must have the ability to effectively present information one-on-one and in small group situations to with customers and other employees

  • Takes initiative to independently resolve a variety of complex issues and non-standard problems


Working Environment


This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and other office related devices. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and in a generally hazard free environment.
