Procurement Analyst With Strategic Sourcing Jobs in Texas

Experience in contract development, sourcing, negotiations, data analytics and contract management

Institute of Supply Management CPM or CPSM certification

Knowledge of Ariba Spend Management

Developing and implementing multi-year sourcing strategies for responsible spend categories, using data analysis and internal collaboration.

Developing strategies that consider One Toyota objectives, especially for shared suppliers and/or shared services/commodities.

Designing, planning, managing, and leading key Requests for Proposals, information, quote, etc., with cross-functional teams.

Strong direct materials sourcing experience in manufacturing

Experience in a mature manufacturing environment with established processes where managing procurement costs is critical to the bottom-line

Experience managing $50M+ in spend

ERP experience, data-driven approach to sourcing

Consulting experience in Sourcing (assessing spend, breaking down big budgets, tackling categories for clients)

Evaluate the current state through analyzing their high-value categories to understand the allocation of their current $80M spend

Demonstrating analytical, business, project management, contract, and process management skills

Contains an understanding of risk management, third party governance, and supplier relationship management.

Develop future processes that enable Procurement to grow and expand, including contract management and supplier relationship management.

Serve as a point of escalation for issue management and disputes, driving those issues to resolution.

Bachelor’s degree – preferably in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Pre Law, Consulting or demonstrated skills through previous positions/experience

Leverage a variety of techniques to understand business requirements, such as interviews, workshops, surveys, site visits, and storyboards.

1-3 years of progressively responsible experience in technical, engineering, construction management, or related heavy industry procurement.

Implement and manage competitive bid processes for major equipment (solar) and construction services for utility-scale renewable energy.

Manage the development of contracting strategies, strategic category planning, processes, and procedures.

Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders from engineering, construction, finance, legal, and development to drive the evaluation of supplier proposals.

Proven skills in procurement, costing and estimation, negotiation, basic accounting, contract analysis, and e-procurement.

Support building tools to benchmark and model equipment and construction costs based on multiple performance attributes.
