Strong communication and tactful influencing skills (written, spoken, presenting) with demonstrated experience communicating difficult concepts in easy to understand formats

Interacting frequently with internal business partners, including experience assisting with preparing and delivery of internal presentations and business cases

2+ years of experience in a global procurement role managing supplier relationships (Background Screening operations experience preferred but not required)

Contracting experience, including the understanding of common clauses and experience with redlining/crafting appropriate contract language

Experience with identifying and leveraging Diverse suppliers

Previous international team leadership experience

Consults with management and other subject matter experienced professionals to develop alternative solutions.

Knowledge of the procurement lifecycle, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement and Vendor Management best practices.

Extensive experience in project management and contract negotiation.

Extensive experience developing presentations and presenting to management and other internal groups.

Self-starter and able to direct self without much management intervention.

Participates in weekly category review meetings with cross-functional teams to manage category performance.

Lead and manage the procurement teams on appropriate contract management, vendor performance management approaches and contract awarding processes

Ensure appropriate oversight controls and audit trails are embedded in procurement processes, for internal audit and performance management purposes

Design and implement key supplier management and score carding programs, including regular feedback and recognition

Monitor activities against department objectives and submit performance reports to management

Strong command of vendor performance management and contract administration

Select, manage, coach and develop high performing team

Effective problem solving, planning, and project management skills

Lead and support supplier management and procurement systems implementation

Contribute to business requirements gathering to automate processes through systems

Lead contract review process to ensure compliance and input from all relevant stakeholders including Finance, IT, Legal, Infosec, Privacy and Risk

2-5 five years of experience in a procurement role, focus on tech, or fintech industry is

Experience with procurement and contract lifecycle systems implementations

·Possess and apply a broad knowledge of Supply Management principles, practices, and procedures.

·Lead cadence of project meetings with Category managers and Purchasing managers

·Align with finance to assure a strong approval process confirming all projects are delivering to the P&L

·Five to Six year’s professional purchasing experience

·Engage in external training and organizations to identify tools to enhance the sourcing process

·Power user of analytical tools – Excel, Power BI and database tools
