Payment Processing/Premium Accounting Associate

Job Title: Payment Processing/Premium Accounting Associate-Finance & Accounting
Brief :
The mission of this job is to promptly analyze and apply premium payments with accuracy and quality, correspond with customers, clients and or agents as applicable. Reconciliation, suspense management and billing management experience are some of job competencies as well.
Responsibilities:

• This position is responsible for processing multiple forms of premium payments applied primarily to renewal policies
• Ensure that the assigned targets in accordance with standard level agreement and any internal standards are met
• Suspense Management
• Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of payment documents
• Following all applicable compliance procedures for processing such payments, including federal anti-money laundering.
• Reconciling receipt of payment and application
• Correspondence with agents and/or policy holders as needed
• Managing incoming payments
• Ensure cash is handled in accordance with compliance and standard operating controls
• Billing Management
• This position is responsible for processing routine premium payments applied to new policies or renewals

Basic Qualifications:

• Compute moderately difficult mathematical calculations
• Must have sharp attention to detail and ability to perform with high degree of accuracy.
• Premium processing for life and/or annuity contracts preferred
• Work with customers in a professional manner
• Proven oral and written communication skill set.
• Available for 8hour shift between 8 am to 6 pm working hours, Work from home
• Work harmoniously with peers within a small team environment to accomplish both personal and team performance goals.
• Knowledge of MS office including Excel
• Work simultaneously with multiple computer systems
• Knowledgeable in life or annuity products and premium processing
• Work overtime, as needed, to meet daily deadlines
• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, business management, or finance or years of experience equivalent
• Ability to:
• Meet multiple performance targets at or above benchmark levels; including, but not limited to accuracy, call quality, timeliness, and productivity.
• Strong analytical skills to review documents and reach sound decisions
