Minimum 2 years work experience in photo studio environment

Extensive interaction with the production manager, photo studio team, advertising & creative team, e-commerce, pre-media and freelance staff.

Constructing room scenes based on creative direction from Photo Directors and Managers.

Maintain an understanding of direction by working with art directors, stylists, and the photo studio manager.

Manage efficient workflow by prioritizing set assembly and utilizing available resources across teams.

Manage organization and maintenance of photo studio tools and equipment.

2 years previous woodworking/shop experience

Construction, carpentry, or theatre scenic work experience a plus

Collaborate with Studio Manager to insure proper integration of production processes and requirements.

Demonstrated skill set in leadership and team guidance capabilities

Fulfill all requirements related to the production of editorial photography assignments relating to Bergdorf Goodman digital initiatives.

Consistently source new talent available in a freelance capacity to fulfill creative needs. This will require knowledge of photographers, stylists, etc.

Collaborate with Styling Manager and Art Director to achieve creative vision.

Skilled in utilizing email, Teams and Microsoft Office software for communication and reporting needs

Ensure samples are received in a timely manner for each seasonal flow.

Keep samples organized and maintain records to track receiving information.

Communicate with Merchandising team to discuss arrivals and delays.

Build rapport with Brand MAs.

Assemble copy fact sheets using several systems.

Support the entire team with other projects.

Strong time-management & project-management skills

A strong understanding of print and web production techniques including separation, layering, and color management.

Maintains current knowledge of design and technology trends.

Contributes to team effort by fulfilling responsibilities with a positive attitude.

Proficient Mac and PC skills

Proficient Microsoft Office skills-Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint

1-3 years of relevant photo styling experience in a fast-paced studio environment

Must be organized, self-motivated, and possess the ability to be proactive and multi-task and prioritize daily tasks and responsibilities

Must have strong communication skills and a willingness to collaborate with others

Decision Making and Problem Solving Skills

Work with Photographers to check in all products received in the studio to be photographed.

Receive and execute direction from Art Directors and the Creative team for all editorial assets.

Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines.

$25-35 per hour, commensurate with experience, starting at approximately 15+ hours per week.

Outreach: Contact and request permission for usage on the site. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with contributors.

Image Editing: Crop, resize, correct color, or otherwise enhance photos submitted by a network of contributors.

Original Photography: On occasion, photograph assignments on spec to best illustrate an article’s goal.

1-3 years of photo work with an emphasis on research and editing, particularly for a digital publication.

Familiarity with Photoshop and proficiency in basic image file handling and editing

Offer expertise on seasonal and core product lines to aid in photoshoot production

Experience on-set and in photo studios – understanding of production/pre-production, prop sourcing & procurement, photography, and post-production preferred

2-3 years of experience in photo studio or editorial production role.

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite & Keynote, Airtable knowledge a plus

Experience working in a photography studio, film set, or theatrical environment, and understand the needs and demands of the Stylists/Art Department/Photographers.

Set construction: You have a background in set building, painting, light construction, or related Experience and are comfortable with power tools.
