Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Must have experience using industrial hand tools and power tools

Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.

Good communication skills with co-workers and supervisors

Experience on an industrial construction site

Will work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and may occasionally work off of platforms/scaffolding using the appropriate fall protection requirements.

Adhere to all safety, risk management, and environmental policies and procedures.

Four years experience as an Electrician.

Possess working knowledge on National Electrical Code.

Oversee completion and documentation of work orders, ensuring accuracy and detail with regard to materials, labor, and equipment.

Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Perform preventive scheduled maintenance on electrical and gas fired equipment as directed.

Fully abides by the healthcare system’s professional conduct standards, executes job duties in an ethical manner, and follows national practice standards

Serves as a conduit to interpret as accurately and concisely as possible while considering cultural implications and idiomatic language differences.

Acts as a cultural broker by educating caregivers on the understanding of patient’s culture in relationship to healthcare.

Translates basic written information as needed and within department guidelines.

Serves as a cultural mediator and educate customers appropriately.

National Center for Construction Education and Research’s (NCCER) certification for Industrial Journeyman Insulator.

Former Foreman Insulator Foreman Experience.

Former experience working with Zachry Industrial, Inc.

Defines project tasks and resource requirements. Assembles and coordinates project staff and plans and schedules project timeline.

Knowledge of building, equipment, and grounds maintenance techniques and tools.

Knowledge of personnel principles and methods.

Five years of experience in grounds and building maintenance along with one year of supervisory experience.

Processes employee timecards and office paperwork.

Plans the daily agenda for supervised employees.

Minimum of one year work experience that demonstrates successful execution of similar duties and responsibilities in a commercial/industrial environment.

Must have manual dexterity necessary to complete all job duties.

Proven skills in the construction, repair, restoration, and installation of wood or related materials.

Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials common to the carpentry trade.

Knowledge of light plumbing and electrical to support games and coin operated equipment operations

Work with management and Enterprise IT to resolve complex business, computer system and data communication problems.

Recommend application design changes to management and Enterprise IT to maximize resources.

Effectively contributes to the engineering process and roles as outlined in the HIT project management methodologies.

Practices, and adheres to system management criteria and policies and procedures.

Provide specialized technical problem solving and problem resolution skills.

Administer systems and tools to analyze and secure computer system programs and database files to comply with audit and regulatory requirements.
