Overview Occupational Health Technician I is responsible for providing basic medical care and services to employees in a variety of industries. They are responsible for providing medical screenings, administering vaccinations, and providing first aid and other medical services. They also provide education and training to employees on health and safety topics. They also provide education and training to employees on health and safety topics. They may also be responsible for maintaining medical records, ordering supplies, and providing administrative support. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
• Ability to assess and respond to medical emergencies
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and coworkers
• Ability to maintain accurate medical records
• Ability to use medical equipment and instruments
• Ability to follow instructions and protocols
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification as an Occupational Health Technician
• Previous experience in a medical setting
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
• Ability to assess and respond to medical emergencies
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and coworkers
• Ability to maintain accurate medical records
• Ability to use medical equipment and instruments
