Night Shift Warehouse Shipping Jobs

Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment; or any equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience.

Requires 2 years of experience in warehouse position and advanced knowledge of departmental functions.

Ability to perform Expediter or Shortage Runner responsibilities;

No supervisory responsibilities. May assist in assigning and checking the work of lower level employees.

Starting rate is $21.50 and includes a $1.50 shift differential

Report incidents and near misses to management promptly

Detailed knowledge of warehouse measures and SOP's

Ensure timely and accurate reporting of measure data to LD&T Manager

Pass on best practices, correct as necessary. Conduct skill training as directed by LD&T Supervisor

Understand AIB audit requirements as it relates to office functions & meet audit compliance requirements

Experience working in a warehouse environment (e.g., order selector/picking product storage, product staging, powered pallet jack/forklifts, etc.)

Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.

Monitors and measures receiving and warehouse performance for accuracy assists in staging, sorting, loading, receiving, and delivering of various products.

Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.

Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.

Maintains quality service by following organization standards.

Completes reports by entering required information.

One-year related experience and/or training

You must be 18 years of age or older.

Reviews orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments and equipment required to meet shipping schedules

Oversees outgoing shipping activities to ensure other fulfillment accuracy, completeness, and condition of loads

Responsible for leading his/her shift in the efficient processing of freight including receiving, storage order picking, and loading for all customers

Inspects material handling equipment for defects and notifies maintenance personnel or contacts outside service facility for repair

In conjunction with the Warehouse Supervisor, monitors work flow of warehouse crew personnel throughout the shift.

Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.

Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, or other stock items and distributes items to production areas.

Counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards and Inventory Control.

Uses computer or RF handheld scanner to enter records.

Prepares and takes a physical inventory of all merchandise.

Minimum 5 years shipping/receiving/warehousing experience

Responsible for control of inbound and outbound materials/ingredients/products

Transports, stages, and rotates product in coolers/freezers.

Receiver: *must have experience in receiving.

Admin: *Must have either supervisory experience, office experience (plus warehouse experience,) shipping and receiving or any relevant experience.

A well-rounded person who can help in the office, receive and put away or pick products.

Will work mostly on the warehouse floor picking orders, receiving, troubleshooting, etc.

The position might train on the 1st for about a week and then will transition to the night shift.

Pay for receivers will be $17 to $21 hourly to start.

Serve as a back-up when a department line manager is absent

Experience working in a distribution environment preferred
