National Strategic Sourcing Manager Jobs in New York

Provides functional expertise, project management, and team leadership.

Manages implementation of mid-size projects, programs, or processes.

7 years Procurement, Supply Chain, Sales, Finance or similar work with an emphasis on sourcing, negotiations, and contracting

May have responsibility for a process, sub-function or program and not have direct reports.

Responsible for administering and contributing to the development of company policies and procedures.

Collaborates with and/or directs others to achieve tactical business results.

Own the full end to end management of sourcing suppliers and co-mans to commercialize new skus and categories.

Project management of initial production setup of both new co-packers and new products.

Engineering, Operations or Supply Chain Management or other technical degree is preferred.

Develop and review standard cost of goods with Finance and Marketing.

Minimum five years’ experience in managing 3rd party manufacturers and/or suppliers, or related role.

APICS certification a plus or PMP certification a plus

Present/update all pertinent supplier and/or industry trends to stakeholders and immediate management and proposing improvements to existing strategies.

Develop and manage a high-performance sourcing team responsible for supporting relevant supplier-related and sourcing-related functions.

Experience leading key negotiations and leading large-scale or enterprise sourcing activities.

Strong ability to translate stakeholder requirements into sourcing practices and business outcomes.

Outsourcing (including business process outsourcing) or digital business experience is an advantage.

Demonstrated leadership, including cross-functional leadership and organizational skills, in a multi-cultural environment.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Finance or Economics

Five (5) years of supply management, project management, or equivalent experience

Must fulfill safety accountabilities as prescribed by JetBlue’s Safety Management System

Develop and execute the Business Partner management program for the category including supporting diversity initiatives

Manage the category team to ensure execution of strategies and day-to-day activities including driving projects forward to on-time and under-budget completion

Able to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously
