Medical Supply Coordinator Jobs

6 months to one year of experience working in a medical setting (can include clinical hours worked in a certification program)

Point of contact for providers regarding medical/behavioral/clinical services or benefits. Including (e-g notification, authorization).

Receive calls requesting medical/clinical services or benefits information, respond to and transfer calls to appropriate individuals, warm transfer if applicable.

2 years + experience preferred

Extract and review fax requests for medical or clinical services requests.

Gather information to understand requests based on urgency.

Main Responsibilities Will Also Include

Lifts and moves boxes and equipment up to 50 pounds for prolonged periods on a recurring basis.

Uses materials handling equipment such as dollies, scales, hand trucks and pallet jacks to transport materials.

Uses computer for correspondence, ordering supplies and maintaining inventories.

Commercial performance management – Skillful application, understanding how commercial value is generated in a Midstream business and trading

Contract management – Skillful application, understanding of how hydrocarbons trade, basic contract terms, and optionality

Refining optimization – Skillful application, knowledge of refinery and process units including process units, basic refinery language, economics, and metrics

Demonstrated commercial decision-making and analytical skills, preferably in extracting value from sophisticated supply chains

Develop and deliver the short-term supply plan and lead through significant annual events such as turnaround planning, RVP phasedown, and contango.

Lead a BCT (business continuity team) deputy incident commander in the event of a crisis or major internal or external disruption.

Day-to-day management of the TTX Company’s Intermodal, General Equipment and Automotive fleets.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Manage procurement of new rail cars, components and other materials used to support TTX fleet maintenance.

Manage the North American Boxcar Pool and the Automotive Reload pool, which includes rail cars supplied by owners other than TTX.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

Maintain working knowledge of basic wound care supplies

At least one year experience in supply ordering strongly preferred.

Must have proficient skills with Microsoft Office.

Must have knowledge of medical supplies and medical terminology.

Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, creativity, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.

Responsible for maintaining office bulk inventory for wound care supplies and other home health equipment

Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills.

Good organizational, math and computer skills (Excel, Word, ERP systems, CRM).

Strong problem solving/conflict resolution skills.

Knowledge of business principles, customer service, basic accounting, marketing.

College degree or relevant trade qualification is preferred

Minimum 3 years customer service experience, preferably in the building materials industry.

Manage the information flow to Buyers/Allocations & Global Merchandising.

Review pertinent details/feedback with Manager in an effort to gain resolution on delays that impact on-time delivery.

Manage the information flow between Production and the Distribution channels. Keep the Distribution channels informed on product availability and production issues.

Knowledge of, SAP, ecVision, JDA Planning System & Microstrategy preferred or relative planning system.

Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and communication skills.
