Knowledge of the Maritime Transportation Security Act, crisis management, contemporary terrorism, security assessment, and threat and risk analysis.

Develop, conduct, and document drills and exercises as related to the requirements of the Combined Vessel and Facility Security Plan.

Ensure implementation of Declaration of Security (DoS) requirements as necessary;

Experience in public transit systems or waterborne transportation facilities.

24/7 response to all security incidents.

Assist the CSO to ensure Facility Security Assessment is carried out when necessary;

Bachelor’s degree and 5 years relevant work experience in the marine field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Cumulative 1-year experience working in a confined community such as aboard a ship, field camp, or remote field station.

Current certification in First Aid/CPR.

Current certification for oxygen administration for SCUBA diving injuries.

Experience troubleshooting and conducting minor repairs on SCUBA gear and compressors.

Experience operating vessels less than 40ft while safely deploying and retrieving SCUBA divers during drift dives.

Proven prioritization and time management skills with accurate results

Prepares renewal reviews- updates data and underwriting documentation. Participates in some management renewal review meetings.

Extensive product knowledge. Understanding of key endorsements for each product. Can identify when an endorsement appears to be missing.

Assigned special projects (i.e. UAT) that require analytical skills by the UC or Team Lead

College graduate preferred and/or seven to ten years prior experience within the insurance market

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Cooperates with the Facilities department, shipboard and shoreside, on operational issues and projects impacting the Hotel and Marine areas of responsibility.

Assists and supports the DPA whenever necessary and to communicates operational issues as and when they arise.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field from an accredited college, university or the international equivalent, preferred.

We are looking for a workshop manager who would be responsible for:

Field experience in the Florida Keys and Everglades

High School Diploma or GED is required and 6 years of relevant work experience.

Collects field data from powerboats, row boats, canoes and kayaks.

Operates vessels and performs dive operations in all aspects of monitoring system installation, operation and maintenance.

Oversee and manage the Barge Readiness program for the gulf coast area.

A minimum of 4 years of barge tankering operations experience including marine barge loading and discharging operations is required.

Supports vessel and barge operations including loading and unloading operations during transfers.

Provides subject matter expertise to shoreside personnel regarding Marine tankering operations and resource scheduling.

Partners with Vessel Operations and Maintenance to improve the mechanical reliability and preventive maintenance programs for barge operations.

Responsible for procuring, vetting, approval of and dispatching of third-party tankerman companies for MPC Marine Transportation.
