Manager Banquet Jobs in Iowa

Management or senior supervisory experience in hotels or experience in the industry with transferrable skills.

Knowledge of food and beverage operations and preparation is required.

Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other Team Members.

Ensure staff receives proper safety and job skills training through group training, on the job training, communication, meetings, etc.

Previous experience in a food and beverage leadership role

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong attention to detail, planning and organizational skills

Experience supervising others and leading a team

Primary Responsibilities include the following: Others duties may be assigned.

Three years experience as a banquet server or supervisor in a fine dining establishment

(Internal candidates should be STAR Service certified. A working knowledge of ClubCater, Aloha and Kronos are a plus.)

Involved in the hiring and training of staff and in the ordering of product.
