Monitors and manages transportation operations performance, including setting goals, defining key metrics and communicating vision for the team.

10+ years' Experience developing and executing progressive transportation performance strategies.

5+ years of experience with Supply Chain and Logistics data analytics

Serves as a thought leader for transportation innovations and multi modal strategies.

Leads transportation strategies including the contract negotiations, execution, and services of all interplant and outbound freight.

Responsible for developing of cost controls, strategies and analysis to meet transportation expense targets and annual freight budget.

Plus an addition 5 years' experience in Sourcing, Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing Operations Management experience)

5+ years of experience in import/export transportation logistics

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with international customers whose first language is not English

APICS Basics of Supply Chain Management

Entry level for Transportation Management, Inbound / Outbound Flow, Internal Flow & Warehousing and End-to-End Supply Chain Mgt.

Manages the team based on Employee Involvement principles

Manages the workload of the area (receiving, shipping, internal movements, warehouse) and optimize the allocated resources.

Manages and controls the transactional flow for all physical flows.

Manages inbound and outbound freight with external providers, suppliers and customers.

Extensive experience overseeing 3PL warehousing providers on-site and remote

Utilize KPI’s and data to manage and address exceptions in a timely manner

8-10+ years’ experience in high volume logistics environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong MS Excel and data analytics skills

Experience with freight payment software solutions preferred
