Minimum Years of Work Experience:

Five years previous transportation experience with two years previous supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Conduct safety training and ensure that department-specific safety and job training requirements are met

Attend supervisor, combined operations, department, warehouse, and/or sales meetings to include transportation advisory group (TAG) as scheduled for strategic planning

Interview, hire, train, and retain staff. Mentor, motivate, and develop staff, and act as a role model and resource to them.

Investigate incidents (near misses, injuries, property damage, collisions, etc), and identify preventative measures, corrective actions, and follow up on those measures

Plan and schedule all tractor-trailers within the branch for preventative maintenance

Base salary up to $110k DOE plus 15% bonus opportunity and benefits
