Lead Ct Technologist Jobs in Colorado

Must hold both Registered Rad Tech certifications, CT (Computed Tomography X-ray), required.

Two (2) years CT experience preferred in a hospital or ED setting-

Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

Be responsible for appropriate operation of all CT Imaging and related equipment.

Appropriately educate, position, immobilize and perform CT procedures.

ARRT CT Certification or eligible

1 year of current experience performing CT and Radiographic procedures

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures, positioning patients, and applying lead aprons and other protective devices.

Operate imaging equipment to produce radiographs and CT scans.

Interpret images and report findings to physicians.

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program

Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT)

Computed tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation.

Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including re-positioning patient and repeating procedure. Enters, transmits and reports scan results.

Reviews patient history, physician's orders and does scheduling.
