Full time X-ray/CT Technologist - Multiple Shifts(15K Bonus) job description


The X-ray/CT Technologist is responsible for performing radiographic and CT examinations on patients of all ages. The Technologist will be responsible for preparing patients for examinations, operating imaging equipment, and interpreting images. The Technologist will also be responsible for maintaining equipment and ensuring the safety of patients and staff.


Responsibilities


  • Operate imaging equipment to produce radiographs and CT scans.
  • Interpret images and report findings to physicians.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures of the department and the hospital.
  • Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures, positioning patients, and applying lead aprons and other protective devices.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure the safety of patients and staff.


Qualifications


  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • 1 year of current experience performing CT and Radiographic procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • ARRT CT Certification or eligible
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association (AHA) card
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
