Unit/Location: CT Technologist Travel Program is part of Intermountain Health a nonprofit healthcare organization that focuses on person-centered care. Caregivers who join our Travel Program enjoy assignments at locations throughout the Western Slope of Colorado, Denver Metro and Montana areas. All travel assignments are on 12-week rotations. All eligible job-related expenses and lodging allowance will be covered by Intermountain Health and are fully benefited based on FTE status.

CT Technologist responsibilities:

• Submit required images and related clinical information to the Radiologist for interpretation.
• Provide open, accurate, and responsive communication to patients, coworkers, Radiologists, and leadership.
• Coordinate CT examination to ensure timeliness, quality, and continuity of patient care.
• Appropriately educate, position, immobilize and perform CT procedures.
• Appropriately utilize, charge, and maintain department supplies.
• Perform CT procedures in order to obtain desired imaging results according to physician’s specifications that includes, but is not limited to: transferring patients for examinations, ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, and assisting with the CT examination process
• Understand and follow provider Imaging orders correctly.
• Appropriately evaluate image quality
• Be responsible for appropriate operation of all CT Imaging and related equipment.

Requirements:

• Two (2) years CT experience preferred in a hospital or ED setting-
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Computed Tomography (CT) registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Current Radiologic Technology License with Montana Board of Radiologic Technologists
• Must hold both Registered Rad Tech certifications, CT (Computed Tomography X-ray), required.
