In-depth knowledge of 3D Modeling (Sketch-Up/Rhino/Grasshopper), preferred. ArcGIS a plus.

Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills.

3+ years’ experience working as Landscape Designer or Landscape Architect.

3+ years’ experience working on residential projects.

Proficient with CAD, LMN and Dynascape experience is preferred.

Knowledge of Photoshop and Sketchup, 3D imaging

Knowledge of developing planting plans, grading plans, lighting plans, and construction details

Knowledge of costs and uses of construction materials

Ensure optimal productivity and adherence to project timeline and budget through cost management, revenue optimization, and accurate and timely billing

Manage and schedule foreman and crews for assigned clients in companies' Field Service Management Software

Conduct appropriate site visits, email or phone calls with clients upon receipt of customer service requests and manage client expectations

We are searching for 1 Landscape Design Assistant. Position open at our Sterling, VA office.

Working closely with the Complete Landscape Design Team

Evaluating landscapes to identify issues and opportunities for enhancements

Designing landscapes to achieve customer goals and objectives

Produce CAD and PDF plans and details of project design sketches

Assemble and email PDF drawing sets for client approvals, pricing releases, and ARB submittals

Perform take-offs of materials and create project cost estimates

Customize LAND F/X database of plants/photos/materials/etc

Please note that 3-4 hours of drafting will be required as part of the interview process.

5-8 years of project management and related experience

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus

Advanced experience with project management softwares and Microsoft Office programs

6+ years of construction project manager experience

Assist Principals in design projects from concepts through construction administration, including management of sub-consultants and production staff

On site-work, landscape/hardscape scopes for multi-phase compound experience

Assist in the production, organization, coordination of all design and presentation documents

Communicate with and coordinate the efforts of project team members, clients, consultants, contractors and agency officials

Experience in management of design/ build projects is a plus;

5+ years of project management experience in architecture, interior design, arts administration, or other comparable field;
