Kitchen Steward Or Dishwasher Jobs in Nevada

Wash and clean walls in kitchen area

Transport garbage containers and all other debris from the kitchen area to designated dumpsters

6 months of experience preferred

Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas

Transport garbage containers and all other debris from the kitchen area to designated dumpsters

Adhere to all Health Department sanitation and safety regulations as required

Use correct chemicals for designated items for cleaning and sanitizing various surfaces according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements

6 months of experience preferred

Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas

Transport mats to loading dock area and clean to standards

Transport garbage containers and all other debris from the kitchen area to designated dumpsters

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Auditory and visual abilities to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION

The ability to load and unload dishware and flatware from the dishwashing machine and store them properly.

The ability to safely set up, clean and utilize the silver burnishing machine.

The ability to clean, polish, sort and transport required silverware.

Complete special projects as requested by Stewarding Management Team.

Minimum age requirement is 21.

Experience preferred, but will train individual.

Maintain uniform appearance according to established guidelines.

Adhere to policies and procedures.

Know locations of all Golden Nugget outlets and services available to the guests.

Perform all other job related duties as assigned by management

Check with management prior to leaving at the end of the shift

Properly use equipment, tools or systems in compliance with safety and sanitation requirements

Assist with any dish-up needs of the banquet kitchen prior to, and during service

Assist the kitchen with the transportation of food to any designated banquet function areas

Utilize proper cleaning chemicals and techniques of all banquet dinnerware, flatware, glassware, pot ware, etc.
