Primarily responsible for the successful cleaning of all china, glassware, silverware, operational supplies

Setup and breakdown lobby receptions including wine and cheese reception, milk and cookies, and breakfast

Proper daily cleaning of all kitchen equipment, china, glass and silver

Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen as well as reception space

Setup and Breakdown of Meetings and Events to our standards

Kitchen or dishwashing experience preferred.

Cleans and sanitizes pots, pans, utensils, and other minor equipment routinely used in the kitchen following established procedures.

Collects and removes trash from all areas of the operation following established procedures. Adheres to recycling guidelines.

Cleans and maintains floors and walls in designated food service areas following established procedures.

Hourly rate: $29.60 - $39.47

Keep management informed of shortage of equipment and supplies.

Report any faulty equipment to management immediately.

Perform other duties as requested by management.

Knowledge of proper safe handling techniques for all chemicals used.

High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.

Report all missing items from room (i.e., irons/boards, hair dryers, etc.) to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.

No experience needed but need a desire to work hard.

The dishwasher will sweep, mop floors, wash worktables and walls of the refrigerators and other equipment assigned using designated chemicals.

Ensure that the floor and work surfaces are kept free of trash, water, etc. to prevent potential accidents.

Sort and store all clean china, glass, silver, chafers, coffee pots, pitchers, display pieces, platters, etc. using proper procedures.

Assist with unloading product from supply trucks.

Report any safety hazards or unsafe conditions and practices to manager immediately

Ensure a clean, safe and pleasant atmosphere is maintained in the kitchen at all times

Perform any opening and closing side work as required

Maintain store rooms and refrigerators and ensure they are kept clean

Ensure at all times that food safety guidelines and company food quality standards are adhered to

Complete time and temperature control logs daily for HACCP compliance

2+ years of service industry experience preferably in a luxury hospitality environment

Assist in light food preparation as directed by manager or chef on duty.

No previous experience required. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Use correct chemicals for designated items for cleaning and sanitizing various surfaces according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements

Six months of experience preferred

Previous experience working in a team or group environment

Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas

Wash and clean walls in kitchen area

Transport garbage containers and all other debris from the kitchen area to designated dumpsters

Ensures that all levels for sanitizer on dish machines and pot sinks are at the specific requirements for health standards

Washes dining room and kitchen items using the dishwasher or by hand

Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in the appropriate storage areas

Cleans work area including equipment, floors, walls, and cooking area

Keep all kitchen wares storage area clean and orderly

Remove trash from the dish room and transport it to the dumpster being sure the receptacles are regularly cleaned and sanitized
