Junior Chemical Analyst Jobs

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business, Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management

Experience with gap analysis and identification of trends in data sets

Working experience with Microsoft Excel (including copy/paste, filters, graphs)

Professional experience in a direct buying role, including responsibility for analysis and negotiation of product and manufacturing cost

Working experience with Power BI (including data importation, slicer manipulation, report creation)

Develop sourcing strategies, which result in supply base optimization

1-2 years of experience in chemical engineering, with a focus on process design, optimization, and testing.

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and propose improvements.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Assist in the design and development of innovative chemical processes, focusing on sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Utilize process simulation software and tools to model and optimize chemical processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance with relevant regulations.

Participate in laboratory experiments and tests to evaluate process performance, troubleshoot issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.

You will document processes in compliance with ISO 9001 quality management system. 

You will apply Chemistry knowledge to interpret global regulations.

You will transform substance and regulatory requirements to actionable data.

Experience with ChemDraw, SciFinder or other similar software’s

You will work on identifying chemical substances by name, structure, properties etc.

Perform additional tasks as requested by management

Conducts chemistry testing and equipment qualification in a timely and effective manner in accordance with standard operating procedures, regulations and cGMPs.

Assures project milestones for the Chemistry Laboratory are being met in a timely manner (laboratory qualifications, etc.)

Conducts chemistry testing documentation and assessment of the results against specifications.

Assist in customer projects for the Chemistry Laboratory.

Responsible for review of documentation and release of incoming materials such as API, excipients and processing auxiliaries.

Must be at ease and well prepared in front of customers and/or management, including good presentation skills

Optimal time management and organization skills

Rework technical designs several times until a final optimization meets the customers requirements at the direction of the Sr. Account Manager.

Reports to Sr. Account Manager for the Oil and Gas applications. No direct report responsibilities.

Understand market dynamics, customer’s economic environment, strategic business objectives, technical requirements.

Interactions with R&D and Project team in France to share knowledge and work on specific technical projects as needed\

Experience operating and maintaining accelerated solvent extractors (ASEs), high-performance liquid chromatographs (HPLCs), and gas chromatography/mass spectrometry systems (GC/MS).

Experience in following performance-based laboratory quality assurance protocols, including following clean-laboratory practices for chemical tracer analyses.

Archive any remaining tissue samples in the appropriate storage area and maintain freezer inventories of these samples.
