Job Description

Vetter is an international specialist in the production of aseptically prefilled syringe systems, cartridges and vials. We are a family-owned, independent company and do not manufacture our own drugs. Our focus is on providing highly skilled support and state-of-the-art manufacturing resources - we are a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) supporting our customers from the initial phases of clinical development and regulatory approval process through successful product launch, commercial manufacturing, and life cycle management.

The company has production sites in Germany and the U.S., as well as sales offices in Singapore and Japan


Responsibilities

  • Assist in customer projects for the Chemistry Laboratory.
  • Conducts chemistry testing and equipment qualification in a timely and effective manner in accordance with standard operating procedures, regulations and cGMPs.
  • Conducts chemistry testing documentation and assessment of the results against specifications.


Tasks:

  • Ensures that all tasks are conducted in compliance with all safety, environmental protection and cGMP regulations
  • Conducts, documents, and assesses analytical testing of raw materials, utilities and in-process, release, and stability testing of finished products in accordance with standard operating procedures and cGMPs/GLPs
  • Collects samples of raw materials and utilities
  • Establishes, reviews and approves documentation (SOPs, etc.)
  • Responsible for maintaining the Chemistry Laboratory in a GMP state
  • Responsible for review and verification of analytical testing
  • Responsible for collaborating with vendors for the external qualification and maintenance of the chemical analysis instrumentation. In addition, conducts internal qualification and maintenance of the chemical analysis instrumentation
  • Responsible for training colleagues on mastered techniques in the Chemistry Laboratory
  • Assures project milestones for the Chemistry Laboratory are being met in a timely manner (laboratory qualifications, etc.)
  • Responsible for completion of Laboratory Investigations
  • Perform additional tasks as requested by management
  • Responsible for review of documentation and release of incoming materials such as API, excipients and processing auxiliaries.


Requirements:

  • MS Office
  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific subject
  • Chemistry Laboratory: 1 - 2 years preferred but not required.


Full Time Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8-hour day shift
