Investment Operations Lead Analyst Jobs

Review and resolve current day security and cash discrepancies with custodial bank, asset class personnel and external managers

Authorizes and releases corporate action elections in custodian system for internally managed accounts

Performs daily reconciliations between broker, investment managers, and the internal portfolio system

Knowledge of financial concepts and theories and their application

Reconciles daily activity in internal portfolio system to custodial system

Independently assess daily cash figures for assigned accounts

2+ years’ experience working in investment operations/middle office role in insurance, asset management, hedge fund, or investment banking

College degree in finance, accounting, similar discipline and/or equivalent work experience

Working knowledge of the following systems: Bloomberg AIM, Business Objects, MS Office Suite, ePAM

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

Experience coordinating settlement processing &/or mechanics with customer banks, issuers, agents, etc.

You have general knowledge of mutual funds, the investment management industry and/or GAAP experience.

Perform reconciliations for derivative positions and trade activity including margin and collateral management.

Investigate and resolve all cash and asset breaks working with custodians, investment managers and accounting.

Perform trade settlement and reconciliation responsibilities.

BA/BS with concentration in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.

Working knowledge of corporate bonds, asset backed securities, derivatives, commercial mortgage loans, repurchase agreements and bank loans.

Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Finance)

Relevant work or internship experience in real estate, fintech, investment management, or accounting
