Investment Operations Development Program Analyst/Associate

The goal of PNC’s Development Programs is to move analysts and associates from development roles into production roles in one of PNC’s lines of business.
The PNC Investment Operations group is part of the Finance organization and provides operations, accounting and project management support of PNC Capital Markets and PNC Asset and Liability Management foreign exchange, derivatives and fixed income trading activities. Analysts will spend one year gaining a strong foundation through on-the-job learning, coaching and mentoring and formal learning programs. Analysts will work with other Investment Operations professionals to perform various trade processing functions including validating completeness of trade capture, independent trade confirmation, settlement and collateral management. In addition to trade processing, analysts will gain experience in project management and risk management. While providing exceptional customer service to corporate & institutional clients, program participants will interact with traders, salespeople and other internal service partners to perform quality, cost-effective processes.
Through a direct rotational experience, formal learning and networking opportunities, analysts will gain valuable exposure to the diverse businesses and products supported by PNC Investment Operations. Rotations will expose the analysts to inherent operational risks and internal controls as well as regulatory compliance requirements that govern trade processing.

This position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at manager’s discretion.
Job Profile :
Participates as an analyst/associate in the line of business development program.
Performs or assists the core activities of the group by applying knowledge learned to drive business results (e.g. deal, sales, or process support, internal or external customer interaction, or supporting internal projects). Works under supervision and may have limited approval and/or exception authority.
Participates in social learning within the organization (e.g. identifies and networks with business representatives and peers, participates in mentoring, job shadowing and community outreach).
Participates in formal learning (e.g. classroom, web-based, or virtual) and completes related activities and projects.
Supports the internal and external customer experience by providing excellent service at all times; takes accountability and ensures problem resolution.
Required Education and Experience :
Preferred business relevant majors (e.g. Finance, Accounting, IT, Economics, Marketing, Math, Statistics, HR, Management, Communications, Business Law, Psychology, Logistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Actuarial Sciences), Minimum GPA 3.0.
Roles at this level are filled by recent university / college graduates with little or no professional experience, but possessing relevant skills. Includes individuals joining the organization through a corporate development/training program.
