Investment Banker – Healthcare Jobs

Experience with large corporate clients, capital markets products, derivatives, credit, cash management, trade, finance and securities products

Experience in the Financial Services industry, specifically within Banking

Degree in Finance or closely related areas of Business Administration

Work closely with UBS’s sector, leveraged finance and institutional sales force teams to achieve successful distribution of transactions

Manage and support the develop of junior investment bankers

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field

Prior experience in an investment banking related role

Several years of prior Leveraged Capital Markets experience is preferred

Ability to manage several projects at once and work effectively as contributor to multiple teams

Planning, organization, and time management skills are mandatory

Professional certifications such as CFA or Series 7 are a plus.

Assist in the diligence of assets and work on deal structuring with legal and tax teams for private transactions

Build investment decision making models and maintain surveillance across the portfolio

Prior work experience in an investment banking front office role.

Experience in training junior bankers

Very strong quantitative and analytical skills (including Excel modelling and valuation work)

Acting as the primary day-to-day client point of contact and lead banker on deals

Prior experience in investment banking and/or knowledge of the process and client expectations

Expertise in the healthcare sector, preferably with operating experience or consulting experience

Five years of experience conducting advisory related projects

Graduate degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Mathematics or Statistics from an accredited college/university and/or relevant professional designation

Exceptional analytical and quantitative background skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, solid research skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment and/or independently
