Overview The Intake Department Manager is responsible for managing the intake process for new clients and ensuring that all intake procedures are followed. The manager will oversee the intake staff and ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner. The manager will also be responsible for training new staff members and providing ongoing support and guidance to existing staff. Detailed Job Description The Intake Department Manager will be responsible for managing the intake process for new clients. This includes ensuring that all paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner, as well as ensuring that all intake procedures are followed. The manager will also be responsible for training new staff members and providing ongoing support and guidance to existing staff. The manager will also be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures related to intake, as well as monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the intake process. Job Skills Required• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of intake procedures and protocols
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in intake or related field
• Experience in management or supervisory role
• Certification in intake or related field (preferred)
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of intake procedures and protocols
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
• Knowledge of client rights and responsibilities
• Knowledge of relevant computer software and systems
Job Experience
• At least 5 years of experience in intake or related field
• Experience in management or supervisory role
• Experience in training and development
Job Responsibilities
