Responsibilities

As a Utilization Manager - Intake Team, you will manage activities and the flow of work for our Ascension Insurance Utilization Management Gateway program. Other responsibilities will include:
  • Manage all activities related to staffing, including hiring, training, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives.
  • Develop, implement and evaluate program services and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assist with problem identification and resolution, implementation of new services, and systems/performance measures.


Requirements

Education:
  • 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 2 years of experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.


Additional Preferences

  • 2+ years of management / leadership experience (with direct reports)
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years health plan Utilization Management health plan experience
  • Experience with Genesis Cloud & G-Suite
  • Experience working in a fast paced Call Center environment
