Institutional Giving Executive Director Jobs

Ability to track and maintain organized records and demonstrated project management skills.

Bachelor’s degree in non-profit management, public policy, business administration, marketing, or a related field.

Based on team expansion, supervisory responsibilities may be a requirement of this role.

Develop and maintain expert knowledge and understanding of START’s services and programs

Collaborate with finance to ensure responsible and purposeful utilization and tracking of philanthropic dollars.

Plan, execute, and manage events sponsored by the Chief Development Officer or START’s leadership.

Highly developed organization and information management skills

Document interactions, participate in prospect management meetings, and utilize Raiser’s Edge/NXT to support relationship management and upgrade potential

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

A minimum of 2 years of experience in fundraising, nonprofit or related field

CRM knowledge (equivalent to Raiser’s Edge/NXT)

Exceptional communication skills with the ability to guide conversations

Working closely with the Finance Department to ensure all requirements for application budget materials and financial reporting are met.

2 years experience crafting grant proposals and reports, or related.

Outstanding interpersonal communication skills to work effectively with a variety of people.

Strong writing skills with an ability to write compelling text that accurately outlines the importance of Sundance Institute’s mission.

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize.

This is a fully remote position that does not require any onsite work duties.

Assist with timely and accurate data entry and administrative tasks in Salesforce database;

Must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, and have strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail;

Interest and experience in writing, editing, and research;

Knowledge of Google Drive applications preferred;

Development or fundraising background preferred (academic or past internship experience).

Prepare timely acknowledgment letters for received gifts;

· Responsible for all aspects of institutional trust administration, annual reviews, and ongoing relationship management.

· Experience working with retirement and defined benefit plans, foundations, endowments, corporate operating accounts and escrows

· Manage accounts in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.

Qualifications of the Director of Institutional Trust (Trust Custody Service Administration):

Strategic business planning and project management experience in a fast-paced business environment.

Years of Related Experience: At least 10 years of experience

Experience working in the non-profit sector in a fundraising capacity securing individual gifts from ultra-high net worth donors.

Ability to engage senior managers and board members, and to earn and maintain their confidence.

Experience working across Habitat for Humanity Internationals global network.

Experience in a multi-national federated organization

Strong strategic planning and project management skills

Experience within a research and/or healthcare institute or educational institution

Manage the Corporate Engagement and Foundation Relations teams to drive renewed and increased philanthropic support

Lead, manage, and implement change, as well as motivate and mentor staff while increasing performance toward stretch goals

Sustain and deepen relationships with key internal stakeholders including the Office of Sponsored Research, Business Development, Finance, and Marketing + Communications
