Train other employees on job duties, SOPs, and/or proper handling and processing functions as directed

Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality-related discipline

Conduct dimensional inspections; use sales orders to apply correct customer specifications or exceptions

Experience in qualification testing requirements and setup

Perform test set up inspections against engineering and FAA requirements

Monitor and verify quality requirements are fully met

Must hold current ODA certification

ODA certification which includes “test setup conformity” function codes

Good analytical and creative problem-solving skill

Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors

Review and become familiar with the project technical requirements such as the prime contract, applicable codes, standards, and specifications

Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job

Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines

Seven (7) years of experience working as a quality inspector

Oral and written communication skills

Advise management and coach fellow co-workers on matters regarding quality issues.

An Associate’s Degree or equivalent is a benefit as well as any quality related training or certification.

A strong knowledge of computer skills with a focus on the Microsoft Office package.

Follows all SOP requirements and intercedes or challenges proper personnel when defects are present in production runs.

Interacts and reports to/with the Quality Manager in creation and revisions of SOP’s (standard operating procedures) as changes and additions require.

Experience with maintaining accurate records as well as experience with accurate measurement capability.

Measure and visually examine welds for workmanship

Perform basic mathematics such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers and fractions

Perform simple conversions such as millimeters to inches, kilograms to pounds, fractions to decimals, etc.

Required Qualifications - Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

Performs examinations, inspections, or tests as required by project management and/or client/owner.

Provides technical assistance to project management in selecting optimum construction procedures and/or techniques to meet project specifications.

Coordinates examination, inspection, and test plans with project management and client representatives.

5+ years’ related experience within oil and gas industry

Experience with Aerogel insulation, intumescent fireproofing, and cementitious fireproofing.

Level II certification in line with NAS-410 guidance in ultrasonic (UT) inspections with immersion experience

Should have basic knowledge of alloy type and material defect characteristics.

High school diploma or GED

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Ability to make applicable calculations according to established formulas and work from specifications and inspection standard and methods sheets.

Skills, Experience, Education, & Training:

Minimum 1-3 years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance is desirable

Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

Perform incoming material inspections in a timely manner

Perform First Article inspections on manuals

Previous composite material inspection, AWS CWI experience, orbital ube weld inspections and Infrared Thermography Testing (IRT) certifications considered.

Knowledge of Quality Systems and Processes.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to multi-task, be thorough and detail oriented, with strong job closure and analytical skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and database utilization.

Must be willing to travel domestically to conduct NDT business.

Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

3+ years’ experience as a journeyman & 2+ years’ experience in supervisory position

5 years industrial construction experience

Computer Competency (Microsoft Office), Completions Database experience

Good communication skills with co-workers and subordinates

Knowledge of turnover or completions

Performs routine visual inspection of soldered connections, mechanical inspections of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies and subassemblies

Perform acid digestion fiber volume determination including precision weighing and measuring

Use fixtures to accurately prep and bond test coupons

Use of band saws and surface grinders

Keep accurate records of test results

Operate the tension and compression test machine
