Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors

Review and become familiar with the project technical requirements such as the prime contract, applicable codes, standards, and specifications

Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job

Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines

Seven (7) years of experience working as a quality inspector

Oral and written communication skills

Advise management and coach fellow co-workers on matters regarding quality issues.

An Associate’s Degree or equivalent is a benefit as well as any quality related training or certification.

A strong knowledge of computer skills with a focus on the Microsoft Office package.

Follows all SOP requirements and intercedes or challenges proper personnel when defects are present in production runs.

Interacts and reports to/with the Quality Manager in creation and revisions of SOP’s (standard operating procedures) as changes and additions require.

Experience with maintaining accurate records as well as experience with accurate measurement capability.

Performing re-work on material/parts per customer requirements to ensure all material is conforming if applicable.

Updates job knowledge by reviewing job specific work instructions.

Written and verbal communication skills

6 months of manufacturing or quality experience preferred

Using quality inspection technology to track and reject bad parts

Packaging any material/parts that meet quality standards
