Define and manage operational metrics for current and future production systems

Manage and communicate improvement opportunities and implementation plans to all relevant levels and functions in the factory

5+ years’ experience in Manufacturing environment (automotive preferred)

Outstanding interpersonal and relationship management skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with varying levels of the organization

Excellent project management skills and the proven ability to manage multiple projects at any given time

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex subjects to a wider audience

Experience working with a PLM and ERP programs

Requires knowledge of the procedures, methods and technical aspects of manufacturing to perform complex activities.

• Good working knowledge of project information and project interdependencies in order to make informed decisions.

- Experience with PFMEA and work instruction

• Evaluate new processing methods technology for application purposes against new business opportunities.

• Creation of Manufacturing flow charts and equipment capacity studies for all processes.

• Lead for all new Program Capital Expenditures to include equipment / tooling / infrastructure.

• Regular communications with program team as it relates to new program awards and status.

This is a Remote Position with 75% travel requirements.

Strong mathematical, analytical, and creative thinking skills.

Reassessment of factory flow cycle times to accurately match changes to processes.

Time and motion study of floor to support closing labor efficiency gaps.

Assist in assessing movement of material flow on factory floor.

Making labor location changes and tool location changes to minimize/remove transport.
