Industrial Electrician (Manufacturing) Jobs

Glen Raven is recruiting for an Electrical-Mechanical Tech which will troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on mechanical/electrical systems, motors, controls, including but not limited to hydraulics, pneumatics and drive assemblies.

**This is a Day Shift position working 7am-3pm Monday-Friday, with a pay range from $25.92 - $30.46 based on skills**

**12-hour shift positions also available**

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the Uster Sliver Data system and Uster Cone Data for potential quality issues
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics and drive assemblies
• Monitor plant operating systems including but not limited to HVAC, central vacuum system, fire system and air compressors
• Able to perform preventive maintenance on all equipment as instructed
• Follow company policies, safe work practices, prevent injury to yourself and other employees
• Perform electrical troubleshooting of motors and controls
• Monitor on-line monitoring systems for potential problems and trends
• Experience and proficiency in working with a variety of hand and power tools
• Proficiency at reading blueprints and ladder logic
• Perform mechanical fixing duties
• Perform all assigned tasks safely
• Troubleshoot AC/DC drives and controls and understand electronic prints, wiring diagrams and manufacturers’ schematics
• Report any unsafe work conditions or any work related injury to supervisors immediately
• Perform all assigned tasks to the best of one’s ability

Experience and Education:

• High School Diploma Preferred
• Mechanical and/or electrical experience required
• Previous experience in a textile manufacture preferred
