Human Resources Consultant Lead Jobs in Illinois

Foundational knowledge of employment laws and general HR including compensation and benefits.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Psychology or related field required. SHRM or HRCI certification highly desirable.

Minimum 5 years business, human resources or leadership experience. Prior HR business partner or generalist experience highly preferred.

Excellent written, listening and oral communication skills that result in building strong relationships.

Provides guidance and input on department restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.

High attention to detail and ability to analyze data to develop effective solutions, while also managing the people-side of the solution.

Provide comprehensive guidance, assistance, and advice to member companies on HR administration, management, and employee relations matters.

Accompanies the Member Experience Manager and/or VP & Director of Membership Development on new member calls.

Collaborate with members, offering alternative options and recommendations to address HR challenges effectively.

Ongoing professional development and knowledge enhancement of the human resources field as well as business environment and challenges facing Hawaii employers.

Conduct member visits (in-person/virtual) and manages member relationships to ensure member outreach, satisfaction, and retention.

Workstation: Air-conditioned office. Remote work available. Duties require visiting other sites under a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions.
