5+ years of experience in investment research, analysis, or portfolio management with a deep passion for sustainable and impact investing.

Compensation will be determined by a number of factors including educational background and experience.

Conduct due diligence on all approved and new managers and funds.

Assist wealth managers with portfolio construction, attend client meetings, and support new client prospecting efforts as needed.

A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field; an MBA or CFA is a plus.

Knowledge of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and Impact metrics and their application in portfolios.

Help drive transaction origination, structuring, execution, and portfolio management

Impact measuring and monitoring (IMM) - working with a cross-office team to implement an IMM framework across multiple portfolios

Demonstrable interest in ESG and impact investing

20+ years’ experience in the financial services industry, specifically working with clients in the institutional investment management and/or servicing segment

Executive stakeholder management capabilities including establishing trust and respect of clients, investors, and regulators in particular

Provide dual management wherever necessary in order to exert leadership influence over local ESG staff

Experience working in a large, complex organization with multiple legal entity structures and business lines

Significant knowledge of sustainability and other ESG matters that are material for large financial services businesses

Experience in establishing governance frameworks, policies, and controls

Experience in legal practice with substantial experience in real estate secured financial transactions, such as public finance, corporate finance and syndications.

Education: J.D. Degree and license to practice law

Years of Related Experience: 6-12 years

Experience with consumer lending financial institutions and products, regulatory compliance and licensing.

Experience with CDFIs, the CDFI fund, affordable housing and impact investment.
