Growth Equity Investments Associate Jobs

Prepare presentations for management presentations, the firm’s Investment Committee, and portfolio company meetings

Work directly with portfolio company CEOs and management teams on various strategic initiatives

Communicate effectively with portfolio company management teams and investment professionals on a regular basis

Independently create LBO models and demonstrate extensive financial modeling skills and experience in Excel

Industry investments to date include: Consumer, Manufacturing and Industrials, Marketing/Media/Info Services, Software Services, Education/Training, Gov Defense

3-4 years of relevant experience in investment banking (M&A or Lev Fin experienced preferred) and/or private equity

Demonstrated interest in investment management and international markets.

Strong accounting and finance skills.

Researching and evaluating new investment ideas for assigned portfolios which meet investment objectives and portfolio requirements.

Ability to communicate ideas, strong presentation skills, decisive, curious and willingness to learn.

Analyst with 2 - 4 years of equity research experience,

Fundamental company analysis including: analyzing markets, competitive positioning, industry publications, data releases, regulatory events, earnings reports, published research and technical factors.

2-3 years of work experience in private equity or investment banking, with preference for M&A and LBO transaction experience

Strong analytical, modeling, organizational, and writing skills

A professional presence combined with relationship and communication skills to interact effectively with internal and external parties

Performing quantitative analysis, including LBO, fund, and transaction modeling

Conducting market and company research

Participating in due diligence calls with sellers and GPs

Knowledge of finance, investment management industry, and Alternatives is highly desirable

2+ years of applicable experience, alternative asset management or private wealth management industry preferred

Develop exceptional CAIS product knowledge, alternative asset class knowledge, and industry knowledge

Coordinate client meetings and conference calls with CAIS clients and Asset Managers on the platform

$135,000 Base Salary + 50% Bonus (OTE $200,000)

Private Equity Associate Key Responsibilities:

Conduct analysis, financial modeling, and research to support portfolio and business management activities

Collaborate with the investment team to provide strategic insights and recommendations on portfolio construction, asset allocation, and risk management.

Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation is preferred but not required.

Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data from multiple sources.

Analyze financial data, investment performance metrics, and risk factors to evaluate the performance and effectiveness of current investment strategies.

Support the development and execution of business plans, including market entry strategies, expansion opportunities, and strategic partnerships.

Routinely engage with the firm's acquisitive portfolio company management teams and participate in Board-level conversations about M&A outreach / strategy

Actively engage and manage relationships with target company owners / executives

Design, implement and manage CRM best practices

Reporting Associate, Private Equity Finance

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or similar (required)
