No prior experience required, but previous hospitality experience is preferred

Prepare for known problems and opportunities in advance; willingness to undertake additional responsibilities and respond to situations as they arise

Read, write and speak English sufficiently to understand menus, special promotions, and communicate with guests to explain and record orders

Remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items including desserts

Ability to transport up to 50 pounds through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout a shift

Provide information to management to update guest profiles in reservation system.

Greet and acknowledge members and guests.

Knowledgeable about the menu, buffet and wine list.

Knowledge of wines and spirits.

Prior experience working in a fine dining restaurant or club preferred.

Attends pre-meal meetings as requested by the Food & Beverage Director, Food & Beverage Manager, or Banquet Captain.

A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.

Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.

Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Must be available to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Upholds KP's Policies and Procedures, Principles of Responsibilities, and applicable state, federal and local laws

High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent work experience

Observes appropriate food handling techniques according to standards of hygiene in accordance with local, state, and federal agencies

Maintain grill, filters, and oils, which includes cleaning interior and exterior of grill reservoir

Cleans and decontaminates patient care and work area stations, sanitizes cooking utensils, and disposal

May perform other duties as required
