2-3 years’ experience creating 3D frame drawings to be in the production of upholstered furniture.

Intermediate level prior 3D experience with SolidWorks.

Experience in reading and understanding frame design.

Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to ensure delivery requirements.

Makes adjustments or changes as desired by the customer or Project Manager

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, Engineering Physics, Industrial Technology or 3+ years hand on work experience.

Must have 5 years of SolidWorks experience

Sound IT skills using Mircrosft Excel and Word

Responsible for creating the final technical drawings for a project crucial to the manufacture and fitting of the furniture

Make sure that technical drawings and appliances accurately fit and withhold regulatory standards

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Plant Design

Experience with civil and layouts drawings

This is a remote position

Review the electrical/maintenance clearances for indoor/outdoor substation areas.

Design, preparation, and review of cable trenches, cable tray/ladder and conduits routing for overall substation.

Design optimized substation & buildings layouts integrating all the required equipment considering their installation, operation, and maintenance constraints

Work closely with Project Managers and Project Engineers to design and engineer drawings and plans for custom bullet proof barrier systems

5+ years of experience as a structural engineering designer for commercial industrial, and retail buildings, preferably in Southern California.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Keep projects on schedule and prioritize the CAD team’s focus.

Report directly to the structural engineers.

Ensure plans and sketches comply with all relevant building codes and project standards.

Previous experience and good working knowledge with AutoCAD, Civil3D, GIS. and/or Microstation

Previous CAD drawing experience in the engineering, architecture, construction or other disciplines

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Ability to work with a high degree of problem solving and personal accountability.

This position is located at our office in Henderson, NV and requires occasional off-site meetings or client site visits.
