Job Description
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:


  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Print engineering and site-specific drawings, apply engineer seal and signature. Record structural calculation in engineering documentation.
  • Work closely with engineers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, objectives, and timelines. Collaborate effectively to ensure efficient communication and coordination throughout the engineering process.
  • Organize and maintain engineering documents, drawings, and files in both physical and digital formats. Create and manage a centralized repository for easy retrieval and reference by the engineering team.
  • Assist and provide support with engineering design tasks, such as generating design concepts, drawings, conducting simulations, and performing design iterations.
  • Create detailed technical drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor software based on engineering specifications, sketches, and instructions provided by engineers. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of drawings and designs to identify and rectify any errors or discrepancies. Verify dimensions, materials, and other specifications to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.


Education and Experience:


  • Proven experience working with AutoCAD and Inventor software in an engineering or architectural environment.
  • Problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects, files, and meet deadlines.
  • Associate degree or technical certification in engineering, drafting, or a related field, or related work experience.
  • Strong understanding of engineering and drafting principles, standards, and practices.
  • Ability to interpret and understand engineering sketches, specifications, and instructions.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with engineers, cross-functional teams, and dealers.
  • Proficient in creating 2D technical drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and Inventor.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.


Physical Demands:


  • Work with hands and fingers daily; keyboarding.
  • Work with large scale printers and lamination and seal machine.


Work Environment:


  • Occasionally visits to manufacturing area which may exposed to noise, smells, heat, etc.
  • The position is in an office setting with extended periods working on a personal computer.
