POSITION: Investment Analyst - NYC Foundation

- Preparing and helping to write investment recommendations and memos

- On-going portfolio and performance monitoring

- Research broader investment trends and assist with ad-hoc special projects

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Coordinate and manage logistics for Foundation events, including venue, catering, and guest list management.

Support the team in project management, including tracking progress and ensuring timely completion of tasks.

Familiarity with event management software and digital marketing preferred.

Salary commensurate with experience $80-90k range + bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including many perks

Manage the President's calendar, scheduling appointments and meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.

Build, manage and sustain relationships with internal and external stakeholders with cultural sensitivity, empathy, and respect

Scope and manage strategic and project-level plans that help identify active steps to move projects forward in partnership with others

Partner with GRDCs, GAC and BoD as necessary to ascertain opportunities, successes, and challenges

Collaborate with Ares colleagues across myriad business lines as relevant on issues of common concern for positive societal impact

Strong project management skills, used to proactively build processes and programs to benefit the team

Minimum 1+ years’ experience working in an assistant capacity (internship experience ok)

Experience with an entertainment company or non-profit organization a plus

Highly proficient technical skills with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
