Experience managing, training or mentoring 3rd party vendors and/or employees

In-depth knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods to Include:

Above average carpentry skills: repair lose railings, rebuild decks and porches

Bachelors’ degree in Construction Management with 0-3 years’ experience in the construction industry or related fields.

Daily management of construction traders and subcontractors.

Strong interest in Field Operations and on-site management within a construction setting required.

Self-starter with ability to set goals and tasks with strong leadership skills.

Prior professional experience (internship or full time work) strongly preferred.

Knowledge of safety standards preferred.

Computer skills with Microsoft Office suite experience

Capability of learning new computer programs for project management and reporting

Analyze construction equipment requirements and provide recommendations to the team

Knowledgeable of all design documents

Ensure that craft superintendents are trained, knowledgeable and performing at the required quality level

Degree in Construction or equivalent years’ experience

Implement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient.

Collaborate with engineering, sales, project management, and purchasing to ensure project completion.

Solidworks Experience is a plus

Task and project scheduling experience

5+ years of field installation experience preferred.

OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification Preferred

Possess outstanding communication and time management skills.

Execution of the Contract Requirements

Lead, support and execute the project’s safety, schedule, and quality requirements.

Coordination and collaboration with the Office and Field Team to help support and execute all project goals and manage project risk.

Other responsibilities as needed to deliver successful results.

4 to 7 years of commercial construction experience.

Maintains project administration correspondence, and complies with documentation requirements.

3 years of experience in a field engineer / field coordinator position or lead hand / foreman role preferred.

Knowledge of construction industry and company operations, including building materials, construction specifications, and methods and procedures.

Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree, or equivalent experience (2-4 years as General Foreman)

Able to perform all essential Project Engineer job responsibilities

Complete other responsibilities as assigned

Extensive field construction experience at supervisory level

Current Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) Certification, or achievement of STS Certification within six months of hire, maintenance of active certification status

Knowledge of job scheduling, planning, expediting and cost control

New home construction management experience with a volume home builder

Excellent organization, time management, and follow-up skills; high sense of urgency; ability to successfully handle multiple projects concurrently

Knowledge of OSHA standards preferred

Knowledge of land development, residential plans, and construction drawings preferred

Strong communication skills with the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions

Attend weekly construction meetings and community visits to maintain an ongoing understanding of community status and job construction processes.

Knowledge of Contract Documents & Scope of Project

3+ years of professional experience in field supervisory role for commercial general contractor or subcontractor.

Strong working knowledge of project planning and scheduling for construction trades (all disciplines).

Detailed knowledge of commercial construction practices.

Proven skills in the areas of math as well as excellent teamwork, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills.

Minimum of 6 years of previous experience and 2 years of management experience.

Directs and accurately manages Journeyman and apprentices/helpers on large company projects.

Knowledge to accurately oversee time reporting and proper coding of timesheets.

Knowledge, Management, and occasional installation of Rough Carpentry including:

Must have experience in general contracting (concrete, steel erection, light gage metal framing, interior & exterior finishes, and MEPF systems)

Ability to manage multiple projects or manage labor crews

Read and Manage a Construction Schedule

3 years experience as an assistant superintendent with a minimum of 5 years of total construction experience

Interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with project management team

Work directly with the project management team
