Job Description
InfraHire is looking for Field Superintendent in Chattanooga, TN


Responsibilities


  • Work with engineering to ensure complete documentation is available.
  • Maintaining records for site personnel such as daily field reports, field orders, and RFIs.
  • Implement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient.
  • Maintain a log of changes made and assist in the final red-line drawing creation.
  • Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers
  • Be the on-site contact for the customer during the installation.
  • Assist with labor, supplies, and other project cost estimation.
  • Reviewing and becoming familiar with the schedule and budget and ensuring adherence to these.
  • Collaborate with engineering, sales, project management, and purchasing to ensure project completion.
  • Ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Coordinating and overseeing all work on site.
  • Start-up, testing, and troubleshooting of equipment including fans and burners.
  • Ensure projects get completed on time and all issues are corrected.
  • Monitoring and ensuring on-site safety compliance, cleanliness, and orderliness.

  • Ability to travel up to three weeks at a time
  • Outstanding communication
  • Solidworks Experience is a plus
  • Bilingual/Multilingual a plus
  • Ability to work independently/as well as on a team.
  • Task and project scheduling experience
  • Problem-Solving Skills
  • Initiative
  • Proficient in reading blueprints (mechanical and electrical)
  • Risk Management


Education/Background


  • Background in industrial fabrication or paint/porcelain enamel finishing preferred.
  • 5+ years of field installation experience preferred.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification Preferred
