About Our Client
My client is a well known general contractor in the Indianapolis area that is looking to bring on an Assistant Superintendent that is ready and eager to work. The company values long-term commitment to their employees and the core of their culture includes collaboration and transparency from all employees. They operate in the multifamily space and want a candidate who has previous experience with multifamily projects. They want someone who is looking for a long term career, not just a job.

The Superintendent will:

• Be responsible for managing all construction activities associated with the project
• Help manage estimates for all phases of the project
• Work directly with the project management team
• Work with the design team and owner to overcome unforeseen challenges/circumstances
• Maintain the project schedule and project budget
• Maintain daily progress reports of any project events, commitments, agreements, and approvals
• Ensure and enforce all safety policies

The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have:

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience working with Microsoft Office
• Ability to demonstrate managing complex projects
• Interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with project management team
• A construction degree, or equivalent experience
• Capability of managing and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously
• Minimum 3 years experience as an Assistant Superintendent
• Must work well in a team environment
