Knowledge of adult education principles/practices, curriculum development and academic content area

Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification in the state of residence and/or practice

Experience teaching in both online asynchronous and in-person teaching modalities.

Two years of recent work experience in the event industry.

Excellent speaking, writing, listening, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Demonstrated experience in assessing the effectiveness of teaching methods and curriculum/program changes on student engagement and success.

Two years of full-time business work experience in one or more of the instructional areas listed in the position description.

Potential for teaching excellence at the undergraduate level as evidenced by prior experience, organization, and communication skills.

Teaching experience at the college or university level

Experience with training and industry partnerships
