Previous project management experience, a plus.

Some engineering experience including ability to create drawings, diagrams and schematics after analyzing data.

Coordinates and communicates with maintenance supervisor and manager daily on status of all work progress.

Minimum five (5) years’ experience in a construction, maintenance, HVAC, repair, or similar industry.

Leads maintenance staff members in the field to execute maintenance of facility and equipment to ensure facilities needs are met.

Contribute to product vision, roadmap, requirements, and project plans with Product Managers and Engineers

Lead design and re-design of Nursa’s Healthcare Facilities product experiences

Participate in upfront user research, and usability testing with the support and guidance of Experience Researchers

Service design of the overarching structure for omnichannel experiences, with detailed UI and interactions, including updates to our Design System

Strong organizational as well as written and oral communication skills

Experience with statistical evaluation and experimentation design

Vocational/Trade Certification and/or relevant military experience is preferred. Associates degree in engineering or technology is a plus.

Demonstrated leadership skills and abilities.

Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and maintaining Instrument & Controls.

Experience in safe work practices that includes OSHA & Emergency Response Training, fall protection, 70E and LOTO procedures.

Detail-oriented, positive attitude, resourceful and able to manage shifting priorities.

Participate in startup and commissioning of systems and equipment. Engage in obtain training on new systems/equipment as needed.

Experience of computer-aided facility management systems such as Zesati, Trac (Team, resource, approval and control) preferred.

Set furniture standards for the planning, configuration, and management of cubicle space, personal office space, breakrooms, and conference rooms.

2+ years of experience in similar design consultancy services, corporate interiors and/or workplace operations. Knowledge of the tech industry is preferred.

Liaise with local vendors to get quotes for personnel relocation and supplies.

Expertise in space planning, user research, facilitation, design strategy, and space programming.

Comfortable driving decisions in a fast-paced, open, collaborative environment.

Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A) in Interior Design, Facilities Management, or a related field;

Exhibits excellent communication skills with customers, management, office personnel, and fellow employees.

Meets with key stakeholders in all business units to evaluate workspace requirements; develops and manages projects to revise workspaces as required.

Able to take direction from management

Works with Facilities Managers and/or Facilities Director to determine project scope and establish a budget for the impacted organization.

Designs and manage all drawings from the first proposal to the final set of "as built" plans

Inform Facilities Manager of equipment/supply needs, performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance

Ability to operate forklift, pallet-jack and hand-truck preferred. On-site certification available.

Assist with electrical/mechanical maintenance, safety systems, and equipment upkeep, for all departments with related maintenance and repair work

Assist coordination of facility and grounds needs for contracted/3rd Party support

Assist with landscaping & grounds duties, to include:

Upkeep of all grounds including plants, trees, lawn areas, irrigation systems

Develops SHE trainings/certifications and raises SHE awareness for employees/management.

Responsible for facility management within National Vacuum Equipment sites to improve environmental road map, provide continuous update and implementation.

ISO certification and / or audit experience.

Participate in actions related to the establishment of and compliance with ISO Certifications.

A minimum of 3 years' experience within a multi-disciplined manufacturing environment.

Degree and/or training in a manufacturing discipline with experience in environmental health & safety

Coordinate facilities issues with the building management company as needed. Work closely with building maintenance to coordinate building repairs.

Thorough understanding of office services and facilities maintenance including inventory, budgeting, and vendor management.

Strong planning and organizational skills, including the ability to manage a number of projects concurrently.

May provide and/or coordinate back-up coverage to reception/hospitality; may manage workflow in mailroom, copy center and fax department.

Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in facilities maintenance or coordination is required. Law Firm experience is preferred.

Associates Degree preferred. Work experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.

Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, engineering, business, architecture, etc. or equivalent experience required

Good management and strong technical skills

Implement and maintain business continuity plans and infrastructure management programs

Computer skills, including working knowledge of MS Office suite

Drive FM focus and capabilities within site

Manage site level relationships with outsourcing partners, JNJ functions, business customers and authorities

Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies:

Develop and deliver performance feedback on personnel to management for specific projects or work assignments.

Experience with business process improvement principles such as Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma, 5S, Human Performance, etc. preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities (in the order of priority):

Prioritize daily activities within assembly area

• Ensures that Facilities team fulfills their facility maintenance responsibilities/tasks to the highest level daily

• Working closely with the Technical Manager Service

Location: Long Island City - ONSITE (Occasionally Midtown office as well)

Salary: $70k – 74k + OT + Bonus
