Ozark Mill and Finley Farms Description: Located in the heart of the Ozarks, Ozark Mill & Finley Farms is a historical and cultural destination for a new generation of travelers. Set along the Finley River in Ozark, MO, just a short drive from Springfield. We have taken great care to restore the working grist mill (built 1833) along the riverbank, to continue a long tradition of being the center of the community. The mill creates a unique place that embraces our heritage and supports a modern shift towards a simpler way of living. These inspired spaces offer events and programs that will allow people to experience an Ozark way of life in a whole new way. Modeled after the family farms that once dotted the Ozark landscape, Finley Farms honors the true spirit of the Ozarks agricultural beginnings—through time honored techniques, education and a sense of pride. Finley Farms is a multi-parcel, small plot, high-yield farm that will include a variety of edibles from vegetables to fruit and herbs to mushrooms. The farm produces seasonal products for the on-site farm market and restaurants. The farm is dedicated to being a resource and an educational amenity for the area. The farm grows produce that is incorporated through a myriad of food, drinks and products throughout the entire property.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Facilities Lead supports the Facilities Manager by providing oversight, maintenance and upkeep of all grounds, public space, and all property structures.

Essential Functions

• Support public space duties to ensure cleanliness and tidiness of all guest facing areas
• Support the organization and distribution of event materials, food & beverage requisitions and warehouse inventory
• Assist with electrical/mechanical maintenance, safety systems, and equipment upkeep, for all departments with related maintenance and repair work
• Remove trash/recycling/compost property-wide
• All other duties as assigned
• Inform Facilities Manager of equipment/supply needs, performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Represent Finley Farms in a positive, friendly, and professional manner
• Assist coordination of facility and grounds needs for contracted/3rd Party support
• Assist with landscaping & grounds duties, to include:
• Perform misc. tasks on the farm as needed
• Cleaning, snow/ice removal and repair of walkways, trails, drives and parking areas
• Upkeep of all grounds including plants, trees, lawn areas, irrigation systems

Experience/Qualifications

• Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Certificate(s) or License(s): Missouri Class E driver's license and a good driving record is required (or must be obtained within 30 days of hire)

Knowledge, Skills, And Ability

• Excel in a fast paced environment where continuous improvement is expected
• Ability to operate forklift, pallet-jack and hand-truck preferred. On-site certification available.
• Flexible work schedule is required to meet the demands of the property and guests
• Must be able to consistently achieve high work standards including attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness.

Travel Requirements

• Occasional travel to outlets for training, product pick-up, deliveries, etc.
