Minimum 10 years of Project Engineering/Project Management experience in chemical processing, manufacturing, or refining plants

Demonstrated skill/knowledge in the following areas:

Manages and supports the multiple million dollar capital projects.

Ability to support multiple sites project requirements and direct contractors and engineering services while off-site.

Experience in any of the following areas: Cryogenic Industry, Pharma, Clean Room, processing and/or dispensing equipment and facilities.

Technical knowledge of hydrogen handling, storage systems, products and technologies, and environmental impact

Recent experience leading at least one IND/IMPD, one NDA/MAA/BLA, or FDA Advisory Committee preparation or other CDE/PMDA/EMA meetings, or similar responsibilities.

Actively manages issues and risks and proactively identifies alternative strategies in collaboration with Asset Team representatives.

A minimum of 5 years’ experience leading global cross functional matrix teams.

Ensures the programs have adequate resources and technical expertise to meet the strategic objectives.

Partners to develop a joint global strategy for co-development programs, representing Astellas’ position and minimizing escalation amongst the partners.

Demonstrated success leading the development of one or more asset.
