Epic Training Manager Jobs

EDUCATION - Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification

Project Management: Coordinates and assigns projects to team members. Monitors deliverables for alignment with standards. Ensures that deadlines are met.

Technical knowledge around Epic, voice activation software, Excel, Power Point, Word, LMS and authoring systems.

EXPERIENCE - 5 Years of Experience

Epic Certification (EPICCERT): Credentialed in at least one Epic application within 12 months after hire as needed.

Considerable knowledge of project management, adult education and curriculum delivery.

Works with business owners to define, plan, implement, and evaluate training; works with operational leaders to facilitate change management.

Considerable educational needs assessment skills.

Progressive leadership and educational development programs available

Oversees the development, maintenance, and standardization of educational materials including manuals, education updates, tip sheets, and other methods of communication/education.

Communicates with organizational leadership regarding training issues and requirements.

Education: Bachelors degree required. Graduate degree may substitute one year of experience Skills and Experience:

Ensure smooth daily operations at all sites through management of

positive patient experience for individuals utilizing services ·

Manage one or more contracted vendors

EXCELLENT WRITTEN AND VERBAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS CLERICAL FRONT DESK

Epic Training Environment Build experience

Capacity to manage multiple competing objectives and to clearly communicate results

Existing knowledge of state government culture, personnel, and processes

2 years of clinical experience documenting in Epic

Provide EPIC training to new hires to Carle.

Provide individual EPIC assistance for optimization as needed.

Collaborate with the IT Build Team during the design/build/validate processes to ensure user training and resource needs are met.

Providing training, tools and materials to ensure Meaningful Use compliance.

Homecare and Homehealth process experience

Provide EPIC training to new hires to Carle.

This position will be responsible for homecare training across the Carle enterprise (Champaign Service Area, Bloomington Service Area, Peoria Service Area)

Provide individual EPIC assistance for optimization as needed.

Collaborate with the IT Build Team during the design/build/validate processes to ensure user training and resource needs are met.

Providing training, tools and materials to ensure Meaningful Use compliance.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Nursing or comparable, relevant work experience.

Preferred but not required certification in Epic.

Preferred but not required PMP Certification.

Experience advising and coaching team members by providing guidance on project issues, key success factors of the project, and lessons learned.

Experience managing the project from an organizational perspective while attending to detailed tasks.

Provides an additional level of coordination and communication, overseeing implementation for applications, application areas, or specialized teams.

6 – 10 years of management experience.

Strong writing, communication and project management skills

Experience in designing and delivering training programs for supervisory, middle management, and senior management levels

Demonstrated project management skills (technology and people) with a track record of achieving goals on time and on budget.

Works with all levels of the organization from front-line staff to senior management

Manages the hiring, securing and on-boarding of market-based implementation Credentialed Trainers
